They also had 2x snipers each (I started with 3 snipers, I had to build the AT guns). Left and Right bridges had 2x paratroopers, 2MG nests, and an AT gun. I also had the engineers lay a few mines near the map entry points (didn't do much) and barbed wire around two of the bridges. I built sandbags and a few MG nests at each bridge (each got 1 before I ran out of time, I added a second while under attack. I secured those (got me about 4 kills but cost me a paratrooper squad to a sniper because I was careless).

Since that medal can only be obtained by cheating, I was asking if there is some mod or console command to give myself the medal which also is cheating but at least I don't have to spend a gaming evening planting mines and then wait for all the german army to be killed by them. The method I considered the most was that of the mines all over the map since it guarantees success, but that and all the others are cheating and not fun and not immersive. It seems that successful strategies involve extensive use of wire, mines and defenses, most of which you place during mission 3 taking advantage of the fact that the germans won't bother you as long as you don't kill the armored car. Then in mission 4 you have to make a crazy set up waiting in ambush just to kill all the Germans as they enter their spawning points. Getting the achievement implies making a lot of preparations in advance *during mission 3*, preparations that are wholly artificial and cheaty. You will win the battle before getting near to 150. The fact is, if you just play the battle as it is supposed to be, you can never, ever get to 250 (or 300) kills.
